Features
Installs: the protocol integrations (BACnet, CoAP, DNP3, EtherNet/IP, HTTP, Modbus, MQTT, NATS, OPC UA), Bluetooth, push, VPN, voice assistant, Device Discovery, Device Manager, Historian, ControlBird AI, the reporting and schema apps, Clock, all themes and the model pack install from declared content and a service definition. The coding assistant tools (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode) install without an install program.
Integrations: Google TTS, AlAdhan, Telegram Bot, ESPHome, Z-Wave JS UI, Zigbee2MQTT, Open-Meteo, WeatherAPI, PulseAudio, SMTP, the SQL service, speaker keep-alive and the demo run as dedicated services instead of programs inside the engine.
Calendar: the Calendar app edits overrides, exclusions and pre-start leads as individual records, and the calendar runs on its own scheduler.
HTTP: default headers are records on the device's controller, and a placeholder in a mapper path is filled from the endpoint's API key without ever showing the key in errors or logs.
Device Manager: connection settings for an integration are fields on its own type, and the device template feature is removed.
Historian: context columns are individual records instead of a text list.
Google TTS: each cached clip has its own record with its text and last-used time.
Icons: every shipped entity type declares its icon, and types edited in the Schema Editor declare theirs.
Permissions: Owner, Administrator and Playing With Fire can delete folders and integrations.
Bug Fixes
AlAdhan: the queued announcement is stored as fields instead of a text blob.
SMTP: inbound read positions are kept on each mapper instead of in a file on the node.
Google TTS: the cache no longer renames a slot onto an existing name and trims surplus slots when the cache size is reduced.
Device Manager: discovery waits for the controller it just created to connect before querying it.
