ControlBird 0.1.19

v0.1.19
Platform

Features

  • nfc: Register NFC tags and trigger automations by tapping them with a phone, no app required. Tapping a tag records the scan as the signed-in operator and can run a bound rule chain, covering trigger automations, access control, and asset identification. A new NFC Tags app registers and edits tags, shows each tag's tap link, and writes blank tags from a supported phone.

Bug Fixes

  • integrations: Test Connection now asks only for the fields an integration actually requires, so connections with optional credentials such as Z-Wave and MQTT can be tested without filling in a username or password. The Test Connection card spacing was also tidied to read as part of the form.

Performance

  • provisioning: Adding a device with many points is dramatically faster. A Z-Wave door lock with around a thousand points that used to take close to a minute now provisions in a few seconds, and large imports no longer stall other activity.
  • device-manager: The device tree and point list load much faster for devices with hundreds or thousands of points.
