extensions: Installing a protocol or service integration from the marketplace now delivers everything it needs, including the service software itself, matched to your hardware (x86 and ARM, including Raspberry Pi). New protocols no longer wait for a platform update: install, and the service starts; uninstall, and it is removed cleanly. On clustered systems, one node's download reaches the whole cluster automatically.
security: Everything the marketplace delivers is now cryptographically signed and verified twice - once when downloaded and again immediately before it runs. A tampered or unsigned download is rejected outright, and community extensions that ship software require a key you have explicitly trusted.
air-gapped: Extensions can be exported as a single bundle file and installed on systems with no internet access, with the same signing and verification as online installs.
platform: The base platform is now dramatically leaner - it ships the core system and pulls in only what you actually use. Historian, Device Manager and ControlBird AI are installable components; systems already using them keep them automatically.
marketplace: Historian, Chart Builder, Alarm History, Reports and the ControlBird AI app now install and update through the marketplace like any other extension, and apps that depend on a service you have not installed hide themselves instead of failing.
reliability: A service whose software is temporarily unavailable now waits quietly and starts by itself the moment it becomes available, instead of restarting in a loop. Newly added protocols appear in the Add Integration wizard without a restart.
Bug Fixes
upgrades: Systems upgrading to this release keep every device, dashboard, alarm and historical record, and integrations that were already in use re-install themselves automatically - verified end to end against a copy of a production system before shipping.
networking: Large transfers to a node over slower network links no longer fail partway through under back-pressure.
services: Changing a service's environment settings now takes effect on its next restart, without restarting the whole node.
remote access: A node whose protocol integrations arrive later no longer logs errors for connections it does not have yet.
